| Fast change in the canteen |

We have just installed a new biometric system in to our canteen facilities. The new system has been met with great enthusiasm by staff and pupils alike. The new system works by pupils loading money through terminals within school onto their finger print or swipe card. This new system will bring the benefits of increased healthy eating, removing any stigma of free school meal and being able to provide parents and guardians with details of food and drinks purchased while at school. Since the installation of this new hi-tech system, que’s have been smaller and pupils going through the canteen have been served quicker than previously.
